Usually top quality in any field sells – either face to face or at auction….. What does that mean? Some things that used to be high value are no longer desirable therefore values have dropped considerably – a well known example is Victorian & Georgian “brown” furniture – common, mass produced is still readily available and at low prices (much lower than it used to be!).

Many collectables are not so “collectable” in the current market – much porcelain, glassware, ornaments is now low priced. However, “brand” names including old brand names are still a big draw – Lalique glass, Crown Derby, Louis Vitton etc.

Mid Century is a big and growing market – teak & modernistic. Designer names can be high priced…. Named artists with a track history. First Edition books, hallmarked jewellery, rare stamps and coins – all are big in the current marketplace. – hallmarked gold and silver, Cartier, Faberge, etc

Early on

I am so fascinated by photography and it’s capability to bring your imagination to amazing places. Early on, I fell in love with the idea of filming my own productions, so I set out to learn everything I could.

Current

I have been teaching myself filmmaking for the past four and a half years and I’m still learning every day. I am building my business as a freelance filmmaker, as well as working on my own photo shoots.
